Storyline
“Deadpool & Wolverine” is a 2024 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics characters Deadpool and Wolverine. The film is produced by Marvel Studios, Maximum Effort, and 21 Laps Entertainment and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It serves as the 34th installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and is a sequel to “Deadpool” (2016) and “Deadpool 2” (2018).
Directed by Shawn Levy, the film’s screenplay is a collaborative effort by Levy, Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells. Reynolds and Hugh Jackman star as Wade Wilson / Deadpool and Logan / Wolverine, respectively. The supporting cast includes Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Aaron Stanford, and Matthew Macfadyen.
The plot revolves around Deadpool, who discovers that his universe is slated for destruction by the Time Variance Authority due to the death of his universe’s Wolverine. Deadpool reluctantly teams up with a Wolverine from an alternate universe to save his reality.
