‘Salaar’ worldwide earnings: Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran‘s ‘Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire’ had an amazing start at the global box office, collecting a huge Rs 176 crore on its first day. Since then, the movie has continued its success and is now getting closer to reaching the Rs 675 crore milestone.
Trade expert Manobala Vijayabalan reports that the movie has grossed Rs 667.59 crore worldwide. On its fifteenth day, it added Rs 7.90 crore to its total earnings.
In India, the action-packed film has made over Rs 380 crore. It made Rs 308 crore in its first week but saw a significant decline in the second week, earning Rs 70.1 crore. On Friday, it brought in Rs 3.65 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.
Directed by ‘KGF‘ director Prashanth Neel, ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire‘ is an action drama. It marks the first collaboration between Prashanth and lead actors Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumran. The star-studded cast also includes Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Mime Gopi, Sriya Reddy, and others in important roles.
The movie centers around two friends who become bitter enemies because of unfortunate events.
The sequel to the film is titled ‘Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryanga Parvam’. Prabhas recently mentioned in an interview that the story is ready, and details about the shooting will be revealed soon.
With global acclaim, the film is now gearing up for release in Spanish for the Latin American audience. The Spanish version is scheduled to premiere on March 7.

Produced by Hombale Films, the movie reportedly had a massive budget of Rs 400 crore.
