Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani engaged in playful banter on social media during Khan’s #AskSRK session, where he interacts with fans on X, formerly Twitter. Interestingly, their exchange also touched upon the trailer of their upcoming film, “Dunki.”
Khan initiated the session with a tweet that read, “Currently away for a shoot. Was informed that the call time is slightly delayed. So, I believe we can have a quick #AskSRK session if all of you are as free as I am! Let’s get started, and feel free to ask anything… Oops, I mean, ask any question!!!”
Shortly after, Hirani responded to Khan’s tweet with humor, saying, “Sirji ab bathroom se bahar aa jao. Kya kar rahe ho? Trailer dikhana hain” (Sir, please come out of the bathroom. What are you up to? I need to show you the trailer.)
Khan responded to Hirani’s amusing tweet, saying, “Oh Sh#% Coming sir…doston se baat kar raha that!!! (I was chatting with friends) Sorry, boys and girls, I have to rush now, Varna #Dunki se nikaal denge!!! (or they’ll kick me out of Dunki) Thanks for your time, boys and girls. See you in the theaters very, very soon. Love you all. So much to do and less time to talk to you… Muah.”
“Dunki” signifies the maiden collaboration between Khan and Hirani in a film. This movie, featuring Taapsee Pannu in the cast, is said to revolve around the topic of illegal immigration. “Dunki” is scheduled to be released on December 22.
